It is with great pleasure that we welcome all Federations, Associations, Organizations and WIMAAO members to attend the 2014 WIMAAO Martial World Championships. The open world championships will be held 31st July to 3rd August 2014, in Africa at Solomon Lar Amusement Park, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, Africa. The Martial World Championships will be promoted by WIMAAO Africa Director Itigbri Ogaga Jesse. The World Championships will be open to all Nations, federations, association and organizations wishing to compete.
Keeping World Championships affordable. Entry fees into the WIMAAO World Championships 2014 have been set to allow every team and nation to take part.

Full Contact Kickboxing (adults only)
Light Contact Kickboxing (adults and Juniors)

MMA C Class (Adults only)
JuJitsu (Adults and Juniors)
Taekwondo Full Contact (adults only) Taekwondo Tatami (adults and juniors)
Karate full contact (adults only) Karate Tatami (adults and juniors)
Kung Fu Tatami (Adults and Juniors) Knung Fu tatami (adults and juniors)
Wushu Weapons Forms (adults and juniors)
Kata Forms all categories (adults and juniors)
All competitors must provide at the official registration the following items: *Up to Date Licence (from a recognised association) *A yearly medical clearance letter or certificate from a recognised MD which covers the date of the Martial Championships *Passport
Equipment: Competitors or teams will be required to bring their own safety equipment which should include, Martial Arts Shin or Shin instep guards, kickboots, groin guard with cup, hand wraps, boxing gloves 10oz (Cowhide leather) Head Guard in colours Red and Blue, Gum Shield, minimum weight 6oz MMA Gloves. Items will depend on the categories each competitor enters. Cowhide leather boxing gloves and cowhide leather headguards or bayflex must be worn, PU gloves or guards will not be allowed.
Clothing: MMA Shorts, board shorts with no zips or metal attachments, Rash Guard, Wrestling vest, Muay Thai Shorts, Matial Arts long bottoms, for light contact categories a Tshirt must be worn and must always be tucked in during competition. The clothing will depend on categories entered.
Juniors under the age of 18 years must bring a parental consent form to be allwoed to participate in the Championships. These forms will be forwarded to the coach after pre-registering the junior competitor.
Competitors, managers, trainers, promoters, spectators, parent/guardian agree not to hold the Organisation or Event promoter and or its representatives liable for any injuries sustaained before, during or after this event or any other damages caused from related actions of this event. It is the responsibility of the individual competitor to ensure they are fully insured and each participant will be required to sign a disclaimer to this affect.
